The Capitol Hill Map is a publication of the Capitol Hill Association of Merchants and Professionals (CHAMPS), an organization of business and community leaders dedicated to building a strong economic environment on Capitol Hill for business development within the larger Washington, DC community.  We are the association that represents businesses in one of the fastest growing and most vibrant business communities in the country. 

Founded in 1983, CHAMPS represents over 250 businesses, organizations and associations. CHAMPS conducts business development seminars and special education programs to keep its members abreast of important business topics and issues.  We also sponsor Second Saturday, a monthly art and retail open house.  

CHAMPS was a founding member of the Capitol Hill Business Improvement District, which employs the men and women in blue whom you see around Capitol Hill cleaning the streets and answering questions from both tourists and locals (please approach them with your questions).
